WASTE WATER DISPOSAL SYSTEMS

Designed and installed to Council and EPA Standards.

HOT AND COLD WATER SYSTEMS

Sizing and installation to Australian Standard requirements in copper or plastic.

SOLAR WATER HEATERS

Systems can be supplied by you or me (take advantage of the Government rebate). It is important to install them at an angle of 28 degrees (in our area Northern Rivers) and face them due north. They can be equipped with an Electric Booster, Gas Booster or can be connected to a Hot-water Jacket.

THERMOSTATIC MIXING VALVE (Scalding Protection)

All storage hot water heaters must have them installed in the hot water supply line, kitchen and laundry taps can be exempt.

WATER TANKS

The regional implementation of the NSW Building and Sustainability Index
(www.basix.nsw.gov.au) has resulted in the new installation requirements for rain water tanks, check with your local Council.

BACKFLOW PREVENTION

These are devices to prevent the reverse flow of water from a potentially polluted source into Council Mains Potable Water Supply and must be installed where backflow may occur. Some of these devices need yearly servicing and can only be handled by a Plumber with a Backflow Prevention License.

PRESSURE PUMPS

There are many brands and models on the market, it is important to choose the correct size for your requirements.

WATER HARVESTING SYSTEMS

The collection of storm water (rain) for future use is a of major importance in urban areas. These systems should always be designed with First Flush devices incorporated, to improve the water quality.

WATER CONSERVATION

In Australia, our natural conditions are challenging, we have a climate with extremes that require good planning and careful management especially when it comes to water.

Some TIPS on how to SAVE WATER

Repair all leaking taps and toilet cisterns, install 3/6 Litre toilet cistern, install AAA rated Water Saving Devices on outlets or a Pressure Reduction device for the whole house. Front loading washing machines and Dishwashers are also water saving items.
